Summary

This session will focus on ways to be proactive in preparing for, responding to and recovering from disasters including fire, water, mold, severe weather, and trauma. This session will cover:

  • Identifying thresholds of competence - determining when to call a professional vs handling in house
  • Establishing and managing relationships with vendors, insurance companies, responders, and regulatory agencies
  • Preparing your facility for disaster including how to develop readiness plans and establish EP teams
  • Navigating the claims process

Jeff Chester
Jeff Chester is a founding partner of Advance Catastrophe Technologies Inc. Jeff has been active in the restoration industry nationwide since 1999 working on hundreds of large loss projects. Jeff has written articles, training materials, and operational procedures pertaining to the many facets of disaster restoration including mold remediation, fire, smoke, and water damage.
