Summary

This presentation will provide the learner with a better understanding of the key areas of focus for each of the long-term quality measures and strategies for analysis of current processes and opportunities for process improvement to increase their Star rating and the impact on the quality reporting process and reimbursement.

Learner Objectives:

  • Identify the key areas to review for the first half of the Long-term Quality Measures as reported on the 5 STAR report.
  • Determine areas of improvement to increase the STAR rating and impact Quality Care for the Residents as well as, the QRP and reimbursement impact.
