Summary

Part I: The case mix of long-term living continues to change, and Activity Professionals must be ready to serve all. The workshop explores the emotional life, stressors such as transitions, loss of identity, and vulnerability, and why social wellness impacts quality of life. Unique generational components of young residents and Boomers are explored allowing staff increased connection to assess, design, and deliver meaningful, person-centered activities. Learn through video clips, small group discussion, and group challenge topics.
