As surveyors continue to cite F-656 Development and Implementation of a Comprehensive Care Plan and it is climbing on the top 10 list of citations, the IDT must dissect the guidance, probes and tips that are set forth for us to utilize. The IDT will be able to identify through assessment and interview process how to identify the resident strengths, goals concerns and preferences mean for developing the comprehensive care plan. We will discuss what needs to be in the bear minimum for the 48 hour care plan. In addition, we will explore building on the 48 hour care plan by using the RAI process to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan that will include the discharge planning components as well. We will explore the process of quality of care while providing examples of person centered care planning.
