Health Care Association of Michigan
As the HCBS Waiver continues to move towards final transition dates, Michigan providers should be aware and preparing for appropriate compliance in each of their settings. This includes HFAs, AFCs, Exempted settings as well as independent living settings. All will have to meet the requirements for waiver contracts to continue or for new contracts with various waiver agents around the state. Many facilities are already aware of changes they may need to make while others such as those who fall under the “heightened scrutiny” designation are still waiting to know what they must do to comply. This webinar will give providers an opportunity to not only hear an update on the transition plan but also to have some meaningful exchange of questions and answers regarding compliance and contracts.
Contact Hours: This continuing education activity is appropriate for adult foster care providers and certified assisted living directors for a recommended maximum of 1 clock hour of professional development.
