Learn about this amazing multi-sensory approach to care by using fiber-optic lighting, aromatherapy, sound/music, tactile stimulation and much more. This effective program helps to decrease pain, increase alertness, decrease agitation and anxiety, sensory enhancement and improve the quality of life of those affected by dementia behaviors, advanced dementia, post-hospital care, and depression, along with special needs and learning disabilities. This approach comes from Holland and was originally designed for developmentally disabled children. It has proven effective with seniors in all phases of the aging and/or dementia process.
