This session will focus on ways to be proactive in preparing for, responding to and recovering from disasters including fire, water, mold, severe weather, and trauma. This session will cover:
- Identifying thresholds of competence - determining when to call a professional vs handling in house
- Establishing and managing relationships with vendors, insurance companies, responders, and regulatory agencies
- Preparing your facility for disaster including how to develop readiness plans and establish EP teams
- Navigating the claims process
