Diving into Long-Term Quality Measures: Part 3 of 3

This presentation will provide the learner with a more detailed-level of understanding of the key areas of focus for each of the long-term quality measures and strategies to increase their star rating, quality reporting program success and future reimbursement.

Learner Objectives:

  • Identify the long-term last four Quality Measures for the STAR rating system.
  • Identify where the information triggers within each section of the MDS.
  • Describe how to determine which residents triggered the measure for MDS based measures.
  • Identify data on the points between STARS.
  • Examine the beginning steps of a process improvement plan.
