This presentation will provide the learner with a better understanding of key areas of focus for each of the short-term quality measures as described in the 5-Star report. Additionally, facilities will be able to better determine areas for improvement to increase their star rating and the impact on the quality reporting process and reimbursement.

Learner Objectives:

  • Identify the key areas to review for each of the Short-term Quality Measures as reported on the 5 STAR report.
  • Determine areas of improvement to increase the STAR rating and impact Quality Care for the Residents as well as the QRP and reimbursement impact.
